“From the moment you arrive, you can be certain of a very warm & friendly welcome where your comfort and enjoyment is our main priority. The Waterbury Guest House is an ideal base to visit Scotland all year round, and there is something here for everyone to enjoy. From walking, fishing and golfing to white water rafting and whisky sampling, you will find so much to explore that you will want to come back for more!“
Dot and Brenda (Proprietors, Waterbury Guest House, Birnam Dunkeld)

This charming, end terraced, Victorian villa dating back to around 1865 is situated in the heart of Perthshire, and overlooks Birnam Hill, with Dunkeld only a short walk away. Along with Birnam Wood from Shakespeare, Birnam is also famous for being the yearly holiday destination for Beatrix Potter and her family. It was while she spent her holidays here that her inspiration for her tales of Peter Rabbit evolved. With stunning scenery, an abundance of indoor and outdoor pursuits and delicious home cooked food to sample, Dot and Brenda are certain that your stay at The Waterbury Guesthouse will be an enjoyable and memorable experience.
Our rooms are tastefully decorated with many period features retained. Our bedrooms are en-suite with flat screen tv, radios, alarm clocks, hospitality trays, hairdryers, hot water bottles and fluffy white towels.

We truly believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it is our breakfasts and our genuine
hospitality that sets The Waterbury apart. Our breakfasts are generous and varied, ranging from our full Scottish
breakfast, or vegetarian Scottish breakfast through to our daily breakfast specials. We use quality local produce
wherever possible, and only the very best makes its way into our kitchen! Our bacon, sausages and other produce is supplied by our local, award winning butchers and everything else is very carefully selected.
